Security & encryption
Envelope encryption
A random AES-256 key per job, wrapped with a password-derived key (PBKDF2) and Windows DPAPI.
Portable restores
Restores on the same machine happen silently; on any other machine you simply enter the job password.
Encrypted credentials
Database and network passwords are encrypted at rest. User passwords are salted and hashed.
